Barton Community College is seeking an Ag Mechanic service tech/trainer for the College’s Case New Holland training partnership. Qualifications: Bachelors degree with emphasis in agriculture/machinery preferred, undergraduate degree or industry recognized certification and a minimum 5 years shop or shop related experience required. Part time, on call position serving as a substitute trainer for ongoing contract training program. Knowledge of the following areas necessary: emission controlled diesel engines, DC electricity, DC electronics including controllers, basic hydraulics, pressure flow compensated systems, hay, forage and grain harvesting equipment and excellent computer skills. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of skill levels.
