Memorials & Honorariums

Memorials

Memorials are gifts of remembrance donated in the name of a loved one, friend or colleague who has passed away. This gift may be given to the general scholarship fund or may be directed to a specific program or endowment that was of particular importance to the honoree during their lifetime. The names of all honorees are placed on a plaque that hangs in the college's Fine Arts Auditorium.

Honorariums

Honorariums are donations given in honor of a special event for someone still living. They can be given as a gift for any event; birthdays, anniversaries, the birth of a child, a Christmas gift, or a present for Mother's Day or Father's Day, etc. Often honorariums are given to specific endowments when the honoree was close to the person for whom the endowment was named.
