Barton Community College will once again host the Jingle Bell Swing dance, with music provided by the Hilltop Singers and a 17-piece big band made up of area musicians from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Great Bend American Legion, 1011 Kansas Ave.
Tickets will be available at the door, and they can be purchased for $10 per person from BCC Director of Choral Activities Vern Fryberger, (620) 792-9395.
Proceeds from the event will help fund the Hilltop Singers spring tour planned March 2012. More than twenty-five merchants have sponsored songs for the dance. Sponsors of the dance include G & H Insurance, The Great Bend Tribune and Eric and Kathleen Stacey.
