“The Last Five Years" is a contemporary song-cycle musical that chronicles the five-year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up or from break-up to meeting, depending on how you look at it. Written by Jason Robert Brown, it is an intensely personal look at the relationship between a writer and an actress told from both characters’ point of view.
Tickets are available in advanced as well as the night of the show but tickets are limited. Seating will be arranged on the stage of the Fine Arts Auditorium (Black Box Style). All high school and college students will be admitted for free with an ID. Non-student tickets are $5. No one will be admitted after the show begins.
This production is for mature audiences. The musical will have two performances at 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 27.
