The Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet was held April 14, 2011 at Barton CC.  Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Tracey Wagner and Barton Food Service Department.  Dr. Heilman welcomed the 160 volunteers and special guests on behalf of BCC, sponsor of the RSVP.

Selma Webb, pictured right, was awarded the first annual Volunteer of the Year Award.  Selma has been an RSVP volunteer for 17 years and works in a number of volunteer positions.  Her main volunteer job is manager of the RSVP Thrift Store in Hoisington.  She worked 798 hours in the Thrift Shop alone in 2010.   We appreciate her dedication and hard work in this important fund-raising project for the RSVP.

CKMC, now St Rose Ambulatory Surgery Center, was also recognized as the Volunteer Station of the Year.  CKMC was the first volunteer station for RSVP more than 30 years ago and has consistently utilized more volunteers than any other station in Barton County.  Mark Mingenback accepted the award on behalf of CKMC.
