Barton provides a variety of structures and mechanisms to support student learning. In many cases, a journey begins with a determination of the starting point. Placement testing allows Barton to determine the appropriate place for a student to begin his or her educational journey.
Other testing options can allow a student to get college credit by testing out of a class or earn credentials in a specialized field.
Barton’s Academic Advising system is a student centered, advisor driven system designed to increase student success and retention.
The Center for Adult Education assists students with basic math, reading and communication skills, often preparing students to earn their Kansas State High School Diploma.
