General Educational Development (GED) tests give a student the opportunity to earn a Kansas State High School diploma. This credential is recognized as a key to employment opportunities, advancement, further education and financial rewards.
Students must pass five GED tests in the following subjects: Writing Skills, Social Studies, Science, Reading, and Math.
Students can either take classes at either of our two locations or thru distance learning. The GED Distance Learning Program offers a student a way to prepare for the GED Test thru online learning. This online course is available for individuals who are working and cannot afford extra time to participate in a traditional classroom setting. Students can work from home at his/her own pace and proceed through the program with instructional support as needed. This online resource can be used as a teacher-aided instructional tool or as a one-on-one tutoring resource with minimal guidance. Individualized instruction, testing, assignments and reporting are incorporated. This online program is easy to use and monitors a student’s progress throughout the duration of the program. Cost for the Distant Learning program: $193 Total *Includes: virtual classroom seat, official practice tests, and GED test.
